Executive Director
Leads with Experience Mary Lou Blaylock knows seniors. Her love for our residents and zest for life enhances our community in many special ways. As Executive Director of The Remington at Valley Ranch, Mary Lou complements a lifetime of experience in senior living with her own creative style, making life at The Remington meaningful and fun! She has worked for 12 Oaks Senior Living for 17 years, serving in all major areas of senior living management. Mary Lou attended Stephen F. Austin University, majoring in Fine Arts. She is a life-long Irving, Texas resident, and has served on many community and charitable committees. Mary Lou has experience in memory care, assisted living, and independent living communities. She has been at Remington's helm for nine years and has helped to make The Remington at Valley Ranch the place for Irving seniors to truly enjoy their retirement years.
Karen Weatherford
Director of Marketing & Leasing
Spreads the Word about The Remington at Valley Ranch Karen Weatherford serves as Director of Marketing and Leasing at The Remington at Valley Ranch. Karen brings a varied background to our team with 27 years of health care and senior housing experience. She holds an Assisted Living Administration Certification, with experience in memory care, assisted living, and independent living communities, including family transitioning consulting, business development, marketing and leasing. Karen majored in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing at the University of Arkansas. Her love for seniors, along with her knowledge and expertise in our industry, is one key reason The Remington at Valley Ranch remains in the forefront of senior communities in Irving.
Diego Segura
Director of Dining Services
Serves with Hospitality Our Director of Dining Services, Diego Segura, attended Richland College and SMU as a Business and International Marketing major, and has almost a decade of experience in the hospitality industry. His diverse background complements an excellent work ethic and strong management skills. Diego understands the value of customer service and loves to delight Residents that enter our dining room to enjoy a meal together. His position at The Remington utilizes his expertise in excellent service, food quality, professional staffing, and customer satisfaction. Diego has a warm and inviting personality and a true sincerity for helping others. His friendly smile makes each and every guest feel welcome and at home.
